What I Did When........

As most of you know I broke my ankle in two places last June and was in cast for 6 weeks.  Then a boot for 4 or 6 weeks I can't remember.  And then a brace for 6 weeks that I am still supposed to wear when I am active or walking on uneven ground.  Well that amounts to a lot of sitting so.....here are the projects I finished last year!!!  The first one is one I started when I was twelve.  The second is what I mostly did while I was sitting and the third I did for our bathroom.

Its funny I never thought i would enjoy handwork but I love it and its something I can do while waiting then i feel productive.  The one for that bathroom was done at ALL the doctors appointments.

Dinosaur Museum

Mitzi, Jon, their boys, Henry, and I all went to the museum while they were here for Christmas.  I didn't realized how big it was.  The is a hall you can walk thru that looks like you are walking thru the stars Henry made me go thru it with him about seven times!  I wished I could have gone to really look at everything and read the information.....but I have a 3 year old so i chased him.  Part of Jon's family was there also so they helped with Fistan and Zeddi!  What busy boys we have!!

I made him hold still for a few seconds so I could get a picture of him with a dinosaur.  He wasn't happy about it!

I pulled him off this railing quite a few times!  My monkey boy!

This was a water erosion experiment but mostly the boys just wanted to play in the sand and water.  There were little trees and dinosaurs to bury in the sand.

They also had fossils in the sand to dig out but it really was a sand box for the boys.

Christmas Day 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas this year!  Henry had a blast and that made our day!  We got Hungry Hungry hippos and all enjoyed playing that, it got a little crazy with dad.

And he loves to take pictures so he got his own digital camera that he can throw at the wall and it won't hurt it but we won't tell him that.  Now I can use my camera and he can use his!  YIPPEE.

We then went to Gramdma Booth's to open more presents and hang out with the family.   Henry and Fistan both recieved that same thing and loved it!

The only problem was they REALLY secured it to the box.

Waiting for dad to finally get Buzz out!

Grandma was the best!!

This year we had Nathan for Christmas and because he was leaving for the MTC the week after Christmas I had a hard time deciding what to get.  In the end he got gift certificates for cookies, every missionary needs those.

Baker Family Party Dec 19, 2009

Henry was overjoyed!!  Rich had two puppies that got a lot of attention that day!

He wanted to help everyone open their presents!!  This photo is a little fuzzy but he was so funny I had to include it!

He got a remote control car and he loves those so he was excited but had trauma because dad couldn't find batteries soon enough!

Grandma got him a mini race tract that keeps the cars moving through it constantly.  Everyone loved it there and all his cousins and uncles who have come over since have loved it.

Building a Snowman

Robert decided to take Henry out to build a snowman.  He got a kit for Christmas with a hat, scarf, buttons, eyes, nose, and even a carrot nose.  They were out for about 30 minutes then came in Henry was happy and cold. Rob was cold and frustrated because Henry started throwing snowballs at dad, when he wasn't knocking over whatever Robert built.
