A horse of course.............

Henry's preschool teacher owns a horse and let her students come for a ride today.  He has been excited for a week and this morning when i told him it was time to go he said he didn't want to he was afraid of horses.  I said OK we will just go and watch.  When we got there it took him all of two seconds to want to know when it was his turn.  After waiting too long for a four year old he got to got for a ride.  She was  a little behind in her schedule.

Yep that is me right next to him trying to keep up with the horse I was running half the time.

Spring Flowers & One Silly Boy

Henry picked my first tulip of the season and was excited that it closed at night.  This morning when we got up he wanted it to open.  So he turned on all the lights and put it as close to the sliding doors as he could but it still wouldn't open.  So he asked me if flowers like songs.  I said of course.  So then he sang to the flower.  It didn't work but it sure was sweet.

I bought some jelly beans and you can tell this is my son.......because he organized them all.

A mile in your shoes....

The older I get the more experiences I have about how important it is to remember that we have now idea what others are going through in their lives!!  I am trying to get off a prescription drug and am having horrible withdrawal symptoms.  I had no idea!  And I was only on this medication for a couple of months.  For those people out there that are able to overcome addictions I have a greater understanding now.

Make Believe

It has been fun to watch Henry use his imagination more and more!  He likes to fight bad guys and pretend he is a superhero.  He saves his friends and flies up and down the hall.  But today he was playing with his playdough and waiting for customers and I was trying to play along and was told I was "just the ramen maker".   Well at least I know my place now!

More Crocheting Fun

So I here are some more crocheting projects.  Henry loves his koalas!!  Of course he rejected the big one until the little one was finished.  He even hid it behind the love seat.  The two white bunnies are for my nieces birthday on the 19th so don't tell her!  The pink bunny is for another niece and the monkey and penguin are for a sister-in-law.  I am currently making a green bunny like the pink one for Henry like he needs any more 'pets' as he calls them.  He takes them all to bed with him and I think he is running out of room.  He currently has 9, seven of which I have made.  Silly boy.
