The Cousins

I wish that I had my camera ready when Fistan ran into the house because he walked up to Henry and they hugged each other.  They played really well together I was impressed with them both.  Henry did have his moments about 'HIS' toys.

And we all had fun with the playdough...even Zeddi who would try to eat it and laugh.

Thanks for coming to play!

Christmas Cookies

I thought it would be fun for Henry to help me make Christmas sugar cookies.  So I got everything out but before I could start Henry got a hold of the sprinkles.  I decided I better clean that up before we started or I would be annoyed the whole time stepping on them.

Grandma came over to watch because she knows I hate messes and thought it would be entertaining.  Which it was!  Henry had a blast, adding and adding and adding flour to his dough!

I made some too so that we would have some soft ones.  I actually threw away most of his dough when we finally finished.

After doing all that rolling and adding he decided to put the dough on the spoon and flick it across the kitchen.  That didn't last long.  Time to frost!!Sorry about this picture it wouldn't let me rotate it correctly but here he is helping me decorate the cookies or eating the icing before it gets to the cookies.  For those of you who were at the party don't worry the cookies that went where the ones I decorated or he did before the tasting of the frosting tube!  I don't know if any of you noticed but yes he does have a different outfit on to decorate.  I knew he would get messy again but I didn't want flour all over.  We did have fun and I am glad I let him help even though it was a mess.

Baby Kevin

For those of you who have seen UP you know who baby Kevin is, for those who haven't you really need to!!  It has a great message and I love it.  It makes me think everytime about how important it is to live and enjoy the present.  We got this cute little bird in the mail today and Henry loves it.  He kept telling it that 'Its OK',  'I won't hurt you', and 'I'll keep you warm'.  He is so adorable (Henry)!!

Decorating the Tree

I got out our three little trees and the ornaments (the ones that I am not worried about being broken).  We spent the morning decorating and redecorating.  I decided they were Henry's trees.  He is continually redecorating them.  We mostly had fun.

Thanksgiving Day

I am grateful for my wonderful mother who, even though I am 34 and should know how to cook a turkey and make stuffing I didn't, let me make it and walked me through it.  We had a great day and ate much food.  Shane and Nathan provided the after eating entertainment which really was funny.  They weren't very syncronized.

Family Pictures

Actually these were taken because Robby wanted a picture of himself with a beard.  Then of course Henry wanted a picture of himself, so we tried a family photo.  After the picture was taken he shaved and had a mustache and goatee but shaved before we got a photo of that I was disappointed!

UP HIGH

Henry loves to stack the couch cushions or make a cave with them but this day he wanted to be up high while he watched curious George.

Snowflake Making

I got some foam snowflakes and we put them together.  I thought we could decorate with them, and hopefully we will eventually but after we finished......after i finished Henry started pulling them apart.

Where are you??

I came upstairs one day and couldn't find Henry so I called to him and heard a muffled noise.  I called again and again the same muffled noise.  It took me a little while but I finally found the noise and the silly laughing boy.

Exercise

We moved the eliptical machine in the living room, which has helped me use it but also my sweet little boy who likes to do everything I do!  Which includes the water bottle.  It was really entertaining to watch him take a drink while he was moving.  He really is a sweet, loving boy.  He wants me to sit by him as he watches Curious George with my arm over his lap.  He will randomly kiss my arm as we sit there.  He is also forever telling us "I need you." which means hold me or let me sit on your lap.

Henry's Birthday

Well first thing Robert had to take Henry downstairs to inflate his present and he got all his fingers from his left hand stuck in the door, squished pretty good.  Not broken so we went on....  I scheduled his yearly doctor appointment thinking he had all his shots up to date.  And dad told him that they would poke him at the doctor so when the nurse called us back Henry didn't want to go and kept repeating "Don't poke me."  We told him he was fine but he needed one shot so for his birthday he got squished fingers and a shot.  He did get nuggets and chocolate milk (thanks mom) so that made it a little better.  Then we went to Chuck E Cheese that evening.  For days Henry was talking about seeing the 'Giant Mouse' and when he did he was afraid of him of course.  He did have fun and went a little crazy but we finally got him to sleep at 8:30pm.  What a day.

Halloween

My father grew pumkins this year so Henry had a huge one to carve. We had a lot of fun and didn't get too messy. ;-) Henry went as superman but if you asked him he would say..."I'm spiderman and I can fly." Robert volunteered to take him to a 'few' housed and didn't get back for over an hour. He had fun and we even let him have some of his candy!!

Little Mr Fix It

I put Henry in his carpenter pants and he wanted to know what the loop was for so I grabbed his hammer and put it in there. He then decided everything in the house needed fixing so here he is fixing the railing and screen door.

I finally started a blog, so now I can post all the cute pictures of my son. This week we are in preparation for the camping trip. Rob is taking Henry and I get a weekend to scrapbook! I haven't had this much time to myself since Henry was born and I am so excited I could scream. We are also going to see Thomas the train in Heber tomorrow but hey to me the weekend alone is more exciting. Henry is excited about both but I don't think he really knows what he is excited about.
